Nolan - 9 months

Happy 9 months sweet boy!!!

Nolans 8-9 months have been full of fun and adventure! Nolan is such a quick and curious little boy, he is super speedy at crawling and grabbing for different things! When we say No No, he turns around with a big smile! He has also really discovered his tongue this month, began sticking it out more and playing with it-- silly boy! He also crawled up his first flight of stairs-- all the way up to the top with Mommy behind him and began climbing up playground slides! He did great! I seriously thing climbing things is his happy place! He also laughs so hard when we fake hiccup-- this is our favorite way to make him smile for a photo (fake hiccups or sneezing!)

When he is crying he loves the song twinkle twinkle little star-- it immediately calms him down and makes him stop crying, if we stop singing it, he will start to fuss again, but if we start it up, immediately quiet! its so amazing! You also love the toilet (ugh!) when you hear someone using the bathroom, you crawl towards it! We have had to make sure all the seats are down, otherwise you try to play in the dirty toilet water! yuck! You also love bath time!! You will stay in there forever with your brother!

This month he has enjoyed:

-Going tot he Oregon Zoo for the first time

-Went in a tube at Lake Lawrence (just to float!)

-Your first puppy went up to Heaven (you loved watching him run around and knew his name!)

-able to take one step on your own!!!

-had your first wagon ride during this beautiful fall weather

-had another airplane ride from Portland to Minneapolis to Grand Forks (you are much more busy and active on flights-- make it a little more difficult on Mommy - especially because you really only want Mom most of the time!)

-able to climb up playground slides with your barefoot

-able to see fireworks for the first time-- we were very close so they scared you, Mommy had to sit in the car with you and watch-- you were in awe

-began to say num num and mom mom mom

-went to your first potato bowl parade

Passed out in the heat at the Portland Zoo

First time in a tube!
