2 Weeks!

Lucas turned 2 weeks last week and he has been quite the busy little baby! He has had lots of visitors with coworkers, family and friends! He loves meeting everyone and for the most part is pretty relaxed and sleepy when visitors come! He also had his 2 week check up and everything looked great! 2 days prior to his 2 week birthday he weighed in at 9# and was in the 70th percentile for weight and 96th percentile for his head circumference! He also had a check up with a nurse to make sure nursing was going okay 3 days after his 2 week birthday and he had already gained a ton of weight-- he weighed in at 9.9#, then I fed him and his weight increased to 9.11# so he is really getting what he needs which makes me feel a lot better !! He is becoming quite the little chunk and he seems like he is hungry all the time!! Overall he continues to be a pretty calm baby at night and Tim and I have to wake him up every 4-5 hours at night to eat, he would probably sleep through the whole night! He does have his fussy time during the day at different times but normally its because he either hungry, gassy, needs his diaper changed or is tired! We also had awesome help from Grandma Wendy again when Tim had another 4 day trip and then Grandma Ferol and Grandpa Don Ireland came to see their new grandson for the first time! We really enjoyed their company and all their help as well and I took advantage of getting a few naps in while Grandma took over! They also were able to witness Lucas' first bath in the bath tub- this was a learning experience for Tim and I! He seemed like he enjoyed parts of his bath! We are so lucky to have such great family and friends!
