How far along? 30 Weeks
Total weight gain: 17-18# UFTA!
Maternity clothes? All the time!

Stretch marks? Still none-- hoping Im lucky!
Sleep: pretty good! less and less hip pain now! which is weird! But now this week is the first week I've had to get up 1x/night to go pee!
Best moment this week: Spending time at the lake with my family, having a nice long 5 day weekend, awesome baby shower from a few weekends ago,  feeling the baby hiccup, and passing the glucose test with flying colors!

Miss Anything? using bug spray! being able to be out in the heat and not feeling overly hot, having drinks on the pontoon, and waterskiing since every fourth of july I make sure to water ski, but I GUESS I had to hold back this year!
Movement: sometimes he won't stop moving for a good 5 minutes! I think his feet may be up by my ribs, because he sure loves to kick up there! he loves to move all around, I think he gets it from his dad!
Food cravings: not many cravings these days- back to my normal diet!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: hmmm no real symptoms of pain or issues for the the last few weeks,  this pregnancy has been a breeze so far!
Belly Button in or out? maybe it won't ever come all the way out!
Wedding rings on or off? On, sliding off and on really nice still!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but getting anxious and having crazy dreams that I won't have everything ready, everything is really setting in this week, I feel like there is still so much to get done!
Looking forward to: having the baby room all organized, seems like have too many clothes to organize, and my sister and mom coming to Hutch for a few days when my coworkers are throwing me a shower in mid- July!

Tim and I have been busy, busy busy! So much has gone on in the last few weeks, here is just a little recap of the last week:
We celebrated my dad's 62nd birthday at the lake on July 1st-- Tim and I made breakfast that morning- one eyed jacks!  We also went fishing, swimming at a sand bar which was awesome to feel so light in the water,  relaxed in the sun,  lit off fire works, had some bad weather and hail storm come through, and just enjoyed being with family!
Trying to be creative and make a 62 out of bread and egg!
We got to hang out with my two adorable nephews a ton! Logan loves the fourth of july and the national anthem!

And little Carter - he is so sweet! We are both the 2nd child and I swear we have a special bond! :) He smiles at his auntie all the time!

 Pregnant and drinking a non-alcoholic bloody mary/ceaser!
Happy Birthday to my amazing Dad! With the cake Cass and I make every year for his birthday!
My brother in law Tony brought down some awesome fireworks, Logan is quite the fire bug as well!

My dad taught me how to drive the pontoon-- really easy, still not sure if I could park it though!
Tim golfing with all the hail we had!
Fenton and Herbie our fishing partners!
The biggest catch of the day!

Well here is me at 27.5 weeks! WOW I have really popped out into a nice size basketball in the last few weeks! The next 3 weeks  (baby shower, fourth of July, friends wedding) are going to be super busy so who knows when my next post will be!

How far along? 27.5 weeks
Total weight gain: 13-14lbs!!
Maternity clothes? yep! just bought some brand new maternity capri stretch pants! so comfortable!

Stretch marks? none!

Sleep: sleeping really good this last week, much less soreness overall!
Best moment this week: Tim reading the baby his first book :) and baby kicking like crazy during the book! Also our bedding set came in, so now we just have to wait for a mattress! We also purchased a glider rocker chair and ottoman this week - Thanks to Don and Ferol Ireland for the wonderful gift!

Miss Anything? being able to demonstrate different exercises, now I have to try an explain them without doing them! Also missing a little energy this past week as we are completely booked solid at work!
Movement: I think he takes after his dad! He kicks like crazy! kept me up one night due to constant kicking, sometimes its in the ribs and I jump because it takes me by surprise!
Food cravings: sweets and more sweets! caramel rolls, cookies, brownies :) - not good with my glucose test coming up!
Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing at all! I can eat anything, and I pretty much do, weight gain is on track!!
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Much improved since last time, no longer have the crazy SI joint pain!
Belly Button in or out? still in! can't believe it...
Wedding rings on or off? On, minimal swelling this week!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Family baby shower my sister is having for me this upcoming weekend! Can't wait to head back to Grand Forks to see all my family! Also, looking forward to seeing one of my sister in law - Megan Ireland who will be driving with my Mother in law all the way from MT for the baby shower!

Happy (almost) First Father's Day to Tim!
I decided to get a little creative and put together a little Daddy Tool Box for Tim-- I listed off all the items I bought and wrote a little caption next to them! I think he really liked it! He was pretty shocked I put so much effort into it!

Week 26!

How far along? 26 Weeks
Total weight gain: 13-14lbs!!
Maternity clothes? Yep! although the tank top above is not-- I can still fit into just larger stretchier shirts, but I have to wear maternity pants every day to work!

Stretch marks? not yet
Sleep: able to fall asleep just fine, toss and turn a bit throughout the night, I think the huge body pillow I bought is actually killing my SI joint - Tim came home and I stopped using it, what do you know? less soreness! Also still using the boppy wedge from my sister under by belly at night, that is a lifesaver!
Best moment this week: ALL of our nursery furniture coming in-- making good progress on the nursery, putting together the crib, oh AND Tim didn't think he would be able to catch a flight late last night to get back to MSP for our baby class today, but he made it! I  was so excited we didn't have to reschedule! Having a DR appointment at 25 weeks, everything still looking good! Another awesome moment was Tim's parent's being able to make it to Hutch for a few days, Tim and his dad made MAJOR progress on our basement, looking really good!!

Miss Anything? umm being able to bend over without any problems, walking fast, being able to wear my normal swimsuit since it is 90 here right now, and when I work in the hospital its much harder to squeeze in the tight patients room!
Movement: tons of movement! some hard kicks, some soft movements, what is really crazy/amazing is being able to see my stomach shift from side to side-- not sure if he is doing somersaults or what! Also Tim massaged his little butt (we think) and he pushed back and then moved away-- it is the craziest feeling, but so awesome as well!
Food cravings: scones, avocados, peaches, raspberries, fish (only the low mercury kind :),
Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing at all! I can eat anything, and I pretty much do, weight gain is on track!!
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Only symptoms are coming from the hips which really started middle of this last week! I know there is something going on with my sacrum, had Tim try to perform a mobilization on me (didn't work!) so I am stretching a ton-- angry cat stretch, hamstrings, piriformis stretching all seem to help a bit-- reallllly hope I don't develop in sciatic symptoms!  I also had a massive calf muscle spasm, wow those are fun! At least I no longer have any round ligament pain!
Belly Button in or out? still in, holding on for dear life....
Wedding rings on or off? On, even with the humidity, a little swelling in the AM but it goes down after showering!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Very Happy- We are getting so much done - we will maybe be able to relax for the last month up to my due date!
Looking forward to: my sister is having a baby shower for me June 23rd! Cant wait! Excited to see all my family that weekend as well, and hoping my Grandma will be able to make it as she was admitted to the hospital-- excited to see her as well! NOT looking forward to the Glucose test at 28 weeks-- ick!

Tim putting together our awesome crib!

Fenton thinks the crib is his!

Basement in the middle of remodel (notice no recessed lights yet - Dec 2011)
Basement after Tim and his dad put up the sheet rock! I am so proud of Tim he has done a ton of work by himself and learned as he went-- he did all of the framing, realigned the vents, did all the electrical and lighting (passed the inspections!) and now just finished all the sheetrock! The only thing we had a friend help with was the gas line for the gas fireplace. This is going to be an awesome place to be when its all finished!

24 Weeks!

 How far along? 24 Weeks

Total weight gain: almost 10-12 lbs
Maternity clothes? maternity pants every day to work! looking for a maternity swimsuit for the summer!

Stretch marks? still nothing! had to order some more mustela double action stretch mark cream from amazon today!
Sleep: sleeping good at night, still notice mild L hip pain in the morning...sleeping on and off with the snoogle, especially when Tim is gone on trips! That body pillow takes up the whole bed!
Best moment this week:  feeling much more constant kicking going on in there, getting our new stroller, purchasing Tim's father's day present (I know its early!)  and getting baby's nursery all painted!

Miss Anything? bending down easily to shave my legs and speed walking. I feel like I have to walk to so slow these days!!!
Movement: baby moves around a ton between 7-10 PM and 5-6AM! Usually when I am relaxing! I can see my stomach moving all the time!
Food cravings: watermellon, milk, frozen yogurt (mmm! wal-mart carries TCBY frozen yogurt now and it is amazing!!!)  And anything Tim makes!
Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing at all-- I feel great! I am so blessed that I haven't had any issues with headaches, low back pain, cold/flu or anything! I tell ya, I feel better now that I did prior to being pregnant!
Gender: little baby boy
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: had my first gastroc/soleus (calf) muscle spasm 2 nights ago, boy that was fun! still have soreness today but have been stretching daily!!! Also notice my wedding ring is getting much tighter these days with all this humidity!
Belly Button in or out? In still, but it is very strange...looking like its stretched to its limit
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Had a great week-- very happy!

Looking forward to: all of our nursery furniture (crib, changing table, and dresser) should be arriving this week! so excited to get organized! Also we will have our next dr. appointment this Friday-- can't wait to hear our little one's heart beat again!

This week we were able to get all of flowers and tomatoes planted, Tim worked on the basement a ton and we now have all of the insulation up! Up next, sheet rock time! We were also able to borrow a friends carpet cleaner and cleaned the baby room carpet and family room carpet! Looks almost like new! I decided to make a few burp cloths as well, super easy to make with a free online pattern! The flannel fabric was on sale at JoAnn Fabrics, with 1 yard for 4 bucks I can make a ton of burp cloths-- baby shower gifts for friends? I think so! I tried to make a few out of baby cloth diapers - but they might be a little thick! Thank goodness my mom bought me my first sewing machine for Christmas last year! To think of all the projects I can do now! I think I will try and make a door jammer (as seen on etsy), maybe a muslin baby blanket, and some pacifier holders! We will see what I can do, I am just a beginner at all of these sewing projects! I also posted a photo of our new stroller/carseat combo that I am in love with! I cannot believe how easy it is to work, its super light, and small, easy to fold up and lug around since we travel a lot! You can also see our paint color for the baby room all finished!

Nursery and Anniversary!

Tim and I had a busy weekend and were able to get a TON accomplished! We thought we would purchase a bunch of our big items at Babies R Us, but we found everything was cheaper on Amazon! So we tested everything out at the store and left and ordered it online later! We officially bought our nursery furniture set in espresso: crib, changing table and chest! We also purchased our bedding set: Carter's Forest Friends at USA baby! Tim was able to prime and paint the nursery as well, we made a decision right away on the color-- it looks awesome - a cross between pastel blue and green! Its called Thunderstorm by Dutch Boy. We also installed more hanging space in the closet. Now we just have to wait a few weeks for all the furniture to come in, then time to get organized! Along with the furniture, we purchased a stroller, car seat, plus extra base! Slowly but surely things are coming together!

Today is also our 2nd Anniversary! I cannot believe that we have been married 2 years already! With our busy lives, the days have flown by! Happy Anniversary to my best friend who I love unconditionally! And also our last anniversary without any children!

To celebrate our anniversary we were planning on taking a babymoon/anniversary trip somewhere since I had 2 days off of work, but decided to get a ton of baby shopping done instead. After a few days of shopping, we planned a day to just spend with each other hanging out and having fun in MSP. We enjoyed a beautiful day and checked out a really neat mini golf course called Big Stone Mini golf, that had amazing sculptures throughout the course and tons of animals surrounding the course as well. Of course I ended up beating Tim by 6 strokes in mini golf! After golf we went to a nice restaurant on Lake Minnetonka called Maynerds and sat on the patio, had dinner and watched boats come in! Even though we celebrated without a big vacation like the past 2 years, we still had a great time and were just happy we could spend it together! When we got home, Tim surprised me with beautiful flowers to top off the night-- and then root beer floats (which I was craving!) Maybe tomorrow I'll post a new belly photo!

21 and 22 Weeks!

Week 22!

How far along? 22 Weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: 8-10# I am really gaining the weight now!
Maternity clothes?
Stretch marks? Nope! still using mustella and berts bees mama bee lotion every morning and night!
Sleep: able to sleep, but toss and turn a lot! sleeping on my L side really makes my L hip sore when Im laying down and I always need the boppy wedge to sleep with because that relieves some of the soreness. Once I get up, I really don't have any pain or soreness. BUT I just purchased a leachco snoogle from amazon yesterday, should get it tomorrow! So excited to try it-- lots of good reviews!
Best moment this week: tough one! this week has been emotional because of my Grandpa, but really spending time with family over the last 5 days, babysitting my nephews Logan and Carter, and really feeling more forceful kicks from baby boy
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything?  still have to go with having a beer or caesar, mmm!
Movement: I'm not too sure if its forceful kicking or hiccups or maybe both! But he has been really active in the past few days!
Food cravings: blueberries, cherries, salmon, frozen yogurt, scallops!
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope!
Have you started to show yet:oh man! I feel like i am really getting huge all of a sudden, pretty much looks like i have a basketball in my belly! I had cashiers telling me happy mother's day on Sunday!
Gender prediction: all BOY!
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In still, but holding on for dear life!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Very Happy!!
Looking forward to:  Tim and I's anniversary weekend coming up this weekend, we were planning on going somewhere for a little babymoon/anniversary trip, but decided with all of our projects: finishing the basement, killing our grass in our backyard and laying black dirt to level the yard and plant new grass, and starting the nursery, I will still keep my days off and we will work on getting things done around our house. We have planned a day/night stay in MSP for baby crib, stroller, carseat, and bedding  and then we will go out to eat somewhere nice. Tim has free hotel stays in MSP for all of May so that should be fun!

We have had an extremely busy last few weeks so I am a little late on posting! My Grandpa Bernie passed away on May 7th and his funeral was on May 11th so we headed back to GF to help out with whatever we were needed for. Emotional weekend, but my grandpa really felt it was his time and he is in a better place now! Tim and I babysat Logan and Carter for an entire day, did some mother's day shopping and I helped my Grandma prepare for the funeral. We were able to spend time with lots of family that we don't usually get to see. Situations like these always bring family together. We also celebrated my sisters 30th Birthday on May 12th and went to a Fuji steakhouse and grill. Even though its been an emotional week it was great to see family.

 Week 21!
Tim and I had our garage sale this past week and we made over $400! We had a lot of fun with my parents who came down to help with our garage sale. My mom helped out a ton with the garage sale and my dad really helped Tim kick start lawn care at our house, which was very helpful! Tim and I also went to one of my coworker/friend Amy's wedding and had a blast--- I have to say, I felt really funny dancing to all the crazy wedding songs while being pregnant! I kind of felt like a blob!

Below is only a fraction of the clothes that I have been given from my sister (2 tubs!), friends, and either bought or found out at city wide garage sale! So much fun! I think our little boy is going to need more closet space!!! Can't wait to start organizing things a little more this upcoming weekend!
